Acorn necklace

The Acorn necklace can be carried as an amulet to bring happiness, prosperity, and longevity. For women, it is also suitable as a fertility amulet or to preserve the glow of youth.

In the Finnish national epic Kalevala, a large oak tree connects the earth, sky and the underworld. The oak tree was thought to have magical powers or gnomes (in Finnish "väki"), and when it fell, the tree's magical powers were released: whoever broke the branch got eternal happiness, whoever the top got eternal magic, whoever broke the leaf got eternal love. Oak is also a protective tree that advocates honesty.

Every piece is unique and one-of-a-kind due to the casting process, because the metal never flows the same way and each sand mold is made for that specific piece only. Due to this process, a new made-to-order piece might differ slightly from the one pictured.

Crafting timescale

Some pieces are ready to ship but as many of the pieces are handmade uniquely for you, orders will ship approximately 4 - 6 weeks from the time of purchase. You can check whether your piece is ready to be shipped here.

Shipping

When you place your order you will receive a confirmation email that I have received your order. When your order is shipped, a confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to your email to keep you up to date.

Free shipping to Finland and Baltia. All parcels within Finland and Baltia are shipped within 1-7 day delivery, Monday - Friday.

Shipping to Europe is 10€ and shipping to everywhere else in the world is 20€. Delivery times for international orders will vary but should be with you within 10-15 working days. Please be aware that international customers may be required to pay custom duties out of my control.
