Vihkisormus löytyi vihdoinkin!

Ihana kaunis lehtikuusesta muotokielensä saanut hopeasormus istui sormeeni täydellisesti, se on kauniisti patinoitu ja safiiri luo viimeisen, arvokkaan silauksen sormuksen herkkään muotoon. Sormus on taidokasta työtä ja siinä on kevyt tuntuma, sitä on tottumattomankin helppo pitää sormessa. Myös aviomieheni mielestä erittäin hieno ja sopiva sormus minulle, metsäläiselle. A while ago my dear friend turned 40. I made this filigree pendant for her as a birthday gift and also to celebrate our long friendship. This shoe has a special meaning for us. 😀 ^^^^^^^^^^^ Vähän aikaa sitten rakas ystäväni täytti 40. Tein hänelle tämän filigraaniriipuksen syntymäpäivälahjaksi mutta myös juhlistamaan meidän pitkää ystävyyttämme. Taidesepät ry L.U.O.N.N.O.L.L.I.S.T.A näyttely @stromforsart 1.8-31.8. Tässä minun työni "Kukoistus kuolemasta". Materiaalit: taottu teräs, sonnin pääkallo, filigraanityö(925hopea), lehtikulta Tekniikat: taonta, hitsaus, filigraani, hiekkavalu, lehtikultaus "Kukoistus kuolemasta" kertoo elämän kiertokulusta, jossa kuolema ei ole päätös vaan ehto uudelle elämälle. Pääkallon silmäkuopasta versoo taottu kasvi, jonka vartta pitkin kiipeää filigraanihyönteinen. Ne yhdistyvät uudeksi elämäksi, muistuttaen, että kasvu kumpuaa usein juuri siitä, mikä on lakannut olemasta.  Luonto ei tuhlaa mitään. Elämä jatkuu - toisessa muodossa.  Kukoistus kuolemasta kutsuu katsojaa pysähtymään hetkeen, jossa tuhon ja kasvun rajat hämärtyvät. Se muistuttaa, että kuolema ei ole vain loppu, vaan välttämätön osa jatkuvuutta - osa luonnollista. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Taidesepät ry L.U.O.N.N.O.L.L.I.S.T.A exhibition Here is my work "Blossom of Death". Materials: forged steel, bull's skull, filigree work (925 silver), gold leaf Techniques: forging, welding, filigree, sand casting, gold leaf "Blossom of Death" tells the story of the cycle of life, where death is not the end but a condition for a new life. A forged plant sprouts from the skull's eye socket, along the stem of which a filigree insect climbs. They unite into a new life, reminding us that growth often springs from what has ceased to exist.  Nature wastes nothing. Life continues - in another form.  Blossom of Death invites the viewer to pause in a moment where the boundaries between destruction and growth blur. It reminds us that death is not just an end, but a necessary part of continuity - a part of nature. #mariakarteartisanjewellery #filigree #blacksmithing #metalart #scull #goldleafart #goldfromfinnishlapland

Vuohijärven pohjoisosassa on rauhallinen ja hiekkarantainen Mäntysaari, jonka kalmistoon on haudattu ainakin 1200-luvulta lähtien. Kellotapuli-kappelin on Kinansaaren kulmakunta rakennuttanut seurakunnan tukemana 1911. Mäntysaarelle ei ole maayhteyttä, vaan sinne kuljetaan veneellä tai talvella jäätä pitkin. Hautausmaalla sijaitsee pieni kappeli. In the northern part of Vuohijärvi is the peaceful and sandy Mäntysaari Island, where burials have been taking place since at least the 13th century. The Kellotapuli Chapel was built in 1911. There is no land connection to Mäntysaari, but you can get there by boat or in winter on the ice.
